Phuong has been a licensed clinical social worker and therapist for the past 20 years. She received both her masters in Social work and Business Administration from the University of Utah. She specializes in play therapy, EMDR and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She is an affirmative therapist and has assisted LGBTQ+ children, adolescents and adults and their families in their journey of empowerment. She has worked as a director for the past 13 years overseeing both inpatient and outpatient units. In addition to being a director, she was also an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Utah College of Social Work during the same time. She recently started her full time private practice this past summer. She greatly enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling, hiking and skiing. She feels honored being part of the Guild Leadership Collective.
