The guide was produced in part by Eugene Patron and Dr. Deb Cohan, two experts in the field of building awareness and support of the LGBTQ community. A few highlights from the guide are:
– Common hardships faced by LGBTQ college students and how to deal with them
– Scholarships available for LGBTQ students
– Interviews with our two experts, and an array of external support resources
With the school year getting started, we hope to get our guide out to as many students (LGBTQ or otherwise), parents, and teachers as possible.
